I am running HP Home Edition, Win 10 v 20H2, Norton 360 w/Life Lock Premier version 22.21.3.48. I am relieved it is fixed and working now. I ran Live Update once Chrome was reinstalled and an error popped up and Norton Fix It cleaned up the error. Seems strange that only a few of us have been experiencing NPM issue. causing the problem as all browsers had the same issue. So perhaps it was the corrupt Microsoft file, and perhaps Norton NPM ext. Once Chrome was reinstalled and the NPM extension reinstalled, I could access my NPM just fine. A sfc scan of my computer showed a corrupted Microsoft file which they removed and corrected. They ran a diagnostic, cleaned up my PC, deleted cookies, browser history, reinstalled Chrome and removed and reinstalled the NPM ext. That didn't work either and the next day I called the Geed Squad. I checked Norton Community and there wasn't a lot of inquiries about NPM not being able to be accessed except for a few of us so I didn't think it was Norton Servers. I contacted LifeLock and they connected me to a technician who tried to help and then they came back and said it was Norton's Servers and to give it a few hours.
Got same message using Edge and IE browsers.
Chrome kept redirecting me to another sign-in page that did not work and I kept getting an error message that my PC was sending too many requests to try again later. They said they were elevating to level 2 Technician.
